A faster connection at no extra cost... Scarlet boosts internet speeds without increasing prices
Scarlet, the Belgian telecom operator known for its accessible and high-quality offers, is proud to announce that starting on 1 September 2024, it will increase the speed of its Internet services, without changing the price. This update is part of Scarlet's ongoing commitment to meet the growing needs of Belgian consumers.
Scarlet listens to its customers
In today's rapidly evolving telecom market, the demand for fast and powerful Internet continues to grow. Whether it is for teleworking, streaming or simply staying connected, a faster and more reliable connection is essential. With the increasing number of connected devices in homes, the need for greater bandwidth and connection stability is more important than ever. Always attentive to the needs of its customers, Scarlet has decided to respond by increasing the speed of its Internet services.
Why pay more?
Scarlet understands that while needs evolve, household budgets remain tight. That is why Scarlet is once again reinforcing its brand promise and market positioning by increasing the speed of its Internet services without raising prices. Scarlet continues to stand out with its commitment to total price transparency for both existing and new customers.
What does this mean in practice?
The maximum download speed of the unlimited Internet packs (Loco, Trio and Trio Mobile) will increase from 70 Mbps to 100 Mbps, while the maximum upload speed will double from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps.
By increasing the speed of its internet offers without raising prices, Scarlet continues to offer unlimited internet for €34 per month and the cheapest Trio packs in Belgium, starting from €42 per month.
As a reminder, all these products are also fiber-compatible, at exactly the same price, and can be used wherever the technology has been rolled out.
The already significant speeds of Fiber Boost, the option for more intensive users, will see its maximum download speed increase from 200 Mbps to 300 Mbps, and its maximum upload speed rise from 20 Mbps to 30 Mbps.
