Security is a key domain for Proximus
Proximus, one of the market leaders on the Belgian IT security market, is further extending its capabilities in the Netherlands. Thanks to the acquisition of ION-IP Proximus expands its security offering, allowing us to offer end to end security services across the Benelux. In addition, the company is highly complementary to the activities of Telindus Netherlands today.
Proximus wants to be a leading actor in the domain of security. The acquisition of ION-IP further underlines this ambition and accelerates Proximus development in the security market for the enterprise segment. With the growing number of threats, the increasing sophistication of the attacks and the rising pressure of regulatory requirements for security and data protection, enterprises will continue to increase their security investments in the coming years.
Based in the Netherlands, ION-IP employs more than 20 highly skilled security experts and serves customers in various sectors. It is widely respected due to its high knowledge on security and application performance, which is acknowledged by, amongst others, its platinum partnership status with Palo Alto Networks and the Guardian and Gold partnership with F5 Networks. In the recent years ION-IP has strongly grown thanks to a clear focus on Managed Security Services. This strategy will be further enforced with the integration in Telindus Netherlands.
