Proximus, Senhive and SkeyDrone join forces for drone detection
Proximus is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Senhive, an airspace technology company and SkeyDrone, a drone service and solutions provider. Together, they will introduce a drone detection solution to the market, addressing growing concerns of unauthorized drones compromising the safety of facilities with critical assets.
Driven by rapid technological development, the use of drones in various activities is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. In this context, unauthorized drone activities may pose a substantial threat to different types of organizations and venues, including industrial plants, (air)ports, prisons, datacenters and sports stadiums. Recognizing the importance and possible implications of this issue, organizations can benefit from a comprehensive drone detection solution empowering them to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within their airspace.
Therefore Proximus, Senhive and SkeyDrone have decided to join forces to bring this cutting-edge solution to the market. Leveraging Proximus' robust infrastructure, Senhive's drone detection sensors will be strategically installed on eligible telecom towers, allowing to gradually extend the coverage of the drone detection network. Proximus NXT will also play a role in commercializing the solution. SkeyDrone takes charge of the software and services, delivering a comprehensive solution that offers a real-time overview of the airspace traffic situation, visualizes the position of both the drone and the pilot, includes intrusion detection alerts, enables visual analytics and seamlessly integrates with existing UTM systems to distinguish authorized from unauthorized drone flights.
