Proximus renews its long-standing partnership with the Royal Belgian Football Association until 2028
Proximus is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) for another four years. This renewal underlines Proximus' ongoing commitment to supporting Belgian football at all levels, from amateurs and young talents to the national teams, including the Red Devils and the Red Flames.
The renewed partnership confirms Proximus' status as a trusted partner of the RBFA for over 30 years. Proximus wants to keep contributing to future successes, drive innovation and strengthen the community around Belgian football. Not only as a sponsor, but also by providing innovative solutions to support national teams, clubs and amateurs.
Proximus Basecamp: an innovation center
The Proximus Basecamp will remain a focal point of the partnership, providing a high-performance environment for all national teams. This state-of-the-art facility will continue to be equipped with the latest Proximus technologies, including fiber and 5G, and smart solutions ensuring that players and staff have the best tools to develop their talent. Proximus is also extending its commitment as official partner of the eDevils, who will always be able to hone their skills in the best gameplay conditions thanks to fiber.
Increasing the exposure of (young) talent
Proximus is committed to providing technological support to the RBFA in order to showcase tomorrow's talent. This will include the automated production and broadcasting of national youth team matches played at the Proximus Basecamp. In doing so, Proximus is putting its network and media production expertise at the service of young talent.
Improving football in the broadest sense thanks to technology
Proximus will also use its technological expertise to help RBFA discover, develop and promote young Belgian talent. The partnership aims to provide solutions that benefit the football ecosystem in the broadest sense, from amateur clubs to professional levels, based on images or data. This should enable clubs and the RBFA to better prepare and coach Belgian talents.
