Even more top matches in the new UEFA Champions League season with Pickx Sports

The league phase of the UEFA Champions League kicks off next Tuesday. The revamped competition format guarantees even more top matches and excitement on the biggest stage of international club football. As in previous years, football fans can watch all matches up to and including the final, both separately and via Multi Live, with Pickx Sports.

In the new format, 36 teams compete for the Champions League trophy. The calendar for the league phase already has some absolute crackers in store. On the first matchday, Kevin De Bruyne and Jérémy Doku's Manchester City will take on Italian champions Inter Milan. On matchday 3, Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich visit Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund get a chance for revenge in the remake of last season's final against defending champions Real Madrid (with Thibaut Courtois and new Madridista Kylian Mbappé). Club Brugge defend the Belgian honor, with great clashes in sight against Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City, among others.

All games of the brand-new league phase, with the first matchday on 17, 18 and 19 September, will be available on Pickx+ Sports channels. Football fans who have subscribed to the 'Pickx Sports' or 'Pickx All Stars & Sports' TV option can tune in to the match of their choice on one of the Pickx+ Sports channels, or switch between the different matches thanks to Multi Live. Once a month, a game will also be broadcast on the Pickx+ channel.

The team of commentators and pundits remains on board. The team includes commentators Nicolas De Brabander, Niko Lainé and Peter Vandenbempt (NL), Marc Delire and Mathieu Istace (FR) and analysts Wim De Coninck, Wesley Sonck, Franky Van der Elst, and Gert Verheyen (NL), Thomas Chatelle, Xavier Chen, Khalilou Fadiga, Alex Teklak and Benoît Thans (FR). In addition to all live coverage, Pickx also provides highlights, magazines, podcasts and the latest news about the league through various channels (on TV, via the website and the Pickx app).
